THE FOUNDATION

The Green Wedding ETS Foundation engages institutions and operators in a broad and comprehensive effort with two specific areas: one international, aimed at attracting the wedding market and expanding its target audience, and one national, focused on identifying and structuring territories to best accommodate this increase in business.

Creating a new, green, and smart destination, with the experimentation of a comprehensive integrated product that connects various sectors, particularly for weddings and private events;

Enhancing the elements of identity and lifestyle of the territories to accelerate the rediscovery and revaluation of the Genius Loci as a complex of elements that make the experience and stay in this territory unique and unforgettable, thus building a memorable tourist experience;

Applying international standards in services and marketing, along with a commercial and hospitality ethic that protects and respects customers while practicing fair pricing policies;

Building a global reputation based on the quality level of the territory and its production, as well as its connection with the communities that inhabit it, in order to attract tourists, talent, and investments;

Promoting tourism as a factor in sustainable development, contributing to the preservation of the environment and natural resources (thus fairly meeting the needs and aspirations of present and future generations).

 

Green Weddings is a three-year project that comprises three distinct phases:

  • First phase (green weekend): Action on the ground involving a survey of local operators and productive entities of interest, as well as the dissemination of information and training based on a quality guideline. Proposing adherence to the guideline initiates a dialogue with companies. This dialogue, in addition to providing initial information exchange, also represents the first step in a specific process of aggregation and training.
  • Second phase: Populate the web platform called Butterfly (see the next paragraph) in a way that offers a systemic analysis of the type of offerings and the various companies populating it. Each company will be given access to the network through a unique password and will be able to autonomously update their own page.
  • Third phase (Green Weddings): Development of actions for promotional and commercialization efforts in international markets, particularly in England, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Scandinavian countries, as well as more distant markets like South Korea, Japan, and the United States, with a special focus on countries with Italian communities.
